We always enjoy going to eat Mexican at El Charritos. All of the waiters and very friendly and those with a language barrier make sure to get help ensuring the order is right. Management has done a great job. The food is always hot and delicious.

They have good food, so they stay busy. The only peeve I have is where we park/enter the building. There is parking in front and behind and there are two entrances but no sign to tell you where to wait to be seated inside. Also the cashier was rude, other than that service was good.

Being one of the handful of restaurants in Water Valley does not stop this Mexican dining from standing out. The entirety of the staff is friendly, and there are good deals on the food. There are classics, ranging from tamales, carnitas, tacos, and simple rice and beans, all of which are nothing to scoff at in terms of flavor. Just be careful about ordering any of their steaks, which are less than quality.

Let me start by saying that I'm not much of a fan of mexican food. I will get a craving every once in a while and when I do then I head to El Charrito's in Water Valley. MS. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat as are most of the wait staff. The food can be a bit spicey so ask if you're unsure of the food. I tend to always get the steak chimichangas and they never disappoint. I don't like the lettuce and all that stuff on my plate so I need to remember to ask for only the rice, refried beans, guacamole n sour cream with my chimichangas. And the deserts are delicious!!! I do love Mexican desserts!!

Terrible service. They can't make an order of P5 (cheesy chicken & rice) in less than 35 minutes!? No explanation. No apologies. And this was a call in order and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Ha! Guess it was siesta time in the kitchen!Would not go there if it was the only place in Water Valley. I'd starve to death before I ever got my food!

Amazing food everything tasted and looked super fresh,like the tomatoes had just been picked. We will definitely be back

I give el charrito top ratings I've eatin at a few diffrent mexacin restaurants and this one suits my liking they been around awhile and the food is still great...

Worst experience ever! Waiter could not understand English and got my order wrong. I asked to swap one item and he charged me for it. After my meal I had the manager correct my bill which came 9 dollars. Two days later I see a 1000 dollar charge to my account. Called the bank to cancel the transaction but this little 'blunder' caused 4 checks to bounce and it wiped out my savings to cover a 400 dollar overdraft. Overall the food was pretty good, won't go back though.

Really enjoyed my visit here. A great place to catch dinner and have drinks with friends, could possibly be the only place in Water Valley to have drinks with your friends

Ordered a P5 mixed and a grill chicken burrito asked for extra cheese the cashier said that they put it on there and that she even put extra cheese on it so I went with her word. Got home begin to eat rice was dry as heck I didn’t see a bit of cheese it was horrible I didn’t even finish it. Next time if there’ll be a next time I’m gon check it In front of her ....!!! Not only was the food horrible but the cashier is a liar🙄

Good food, very reasonable prices, large clean restrooms, everything wheelchair accessible.... my only complaint was we had a large group of people ....12 of us... the waiter wrote down everyones order ....going around the table in order ....but when they came back with technology food they had no idea who had what and some of the older people in our group forgot the names of the Mexican dishes they ordered. .... made for some confusion. But all in all a very nice place, very clean and neat. I'm sure it will become one of our favorites.

Food an service was great.i can remember a time when the food was not that good it's been real good about 2 years now.

My family has been going here for over 20 years and we have always had the BEST service , and BEST food!!!! We always have our birthday celebrations and group parties here! They know us and are always so attentive!!! It is also my husband’s and my weekly date night place!!! Highly recommend!!!
